Business Meeting
​
We’ll have a business meeting and snacks (of course) followed by a program on marketing presented by our own Marlon Mormann.
You will want to hear the lessons that Marlon Mormann will be sharing with us as he set up his law business. His presentation, Using Google Business to Promote Your Small Business at No Cost, is billed as “Chapter 2, The Book of Mormann.” And he offers this advice: “My son, eat honey, for it is good, and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste.” -- Proverbs 24:13.
Marlon was instrumental in the rewriting of CIBA’s bylaws as we sought Iowa incorporation and federal nonprofit status. He joined the board as director in 2023, and at that time he had been keeping bees for more than five years. He manages seven hives at his home in Des Moines and on property he owns in northeast Nebraska.
