January Face-to-Face Meeting

Reserve this date - we hope you will join us!  You do not need to be a CIBA member to attend, but we hope this meeting will entice you to join our organization!

Northridge Baptist Church, 3700 6th Avenue, Des Moines

NOTE: Park in the lot on Clinton Avenue but enter the building by the door near the alley (not Clinton Avenue), where there is a wheelchair ramp.  Picture below to assist in identifying the church entrance:

​​Schedule: We’ll have a business meeting and annual election, snacks provided by the CIBA Food Committee, then a presentation by .....  Please make sure you’ve paid 2026 CIBA dues because only current members are allowed to vote in the annual election.

HABITAT PROGRAMS DIRECTOR

Elsa leads the Seed A Legacy program and brings over 20 years of experience as a wildlife biologist creating partnerships that improve pollinator habitat. From state conservation agencies to national initiatives, she uses her passion to deliver high-quality habitat projects across the country. Elsa works to make habitat restoration more accessible to landowners. She believes every farm, ranch, and yard has room to support pollinators, and she’s committed to helping others make a difference. Elsa enjoys upland bird hunting, running bird dogs in field trials, and teaching others to connect with the land.   

The Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Jamestown, North Dakota.
