​Schedule: We’ll have a business meeting and annual election, snacks provided by the CIBA Food Committee, then a presentation by Maggie Syversen. Please make sure you’ve paid 2025 CIBA dues because only current members are allowed to vote in the annual election.

Iowa NRCS Resource Conservationist - Urban & Organic
Title: “NRCS Assistance: Helping People Help the Bees”
Short bio:
Maggie is the Iowa NRCS Resource Conservationist for Small Scale, Urban, and Organic Production. She started her NRCS career in 2020 and has served farmers, ranchers, foresters, and private landowners in Southwest Minnesota, the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota, and now Iowa. She provides technical training and guidance to NRCS staff and partners, helping advance conservation efforts across the state. In her personal, time she enjoys rock hounding and tending to her small-scale herb garden.
