We aim to keep annual membership dues as low as possible so that everyone can participate in CIBA activities. We do not charge a fee to attend membership meetings.
We also host a Winter Seminar each January, which may include a small registration fee to help cover costs.
Our primary fundraiser is an annual auction of new and used beekeeping equipment and other beekeeping-associated books and paraphernalia on the third Saturday of April. Anyone can consign or donate equipment for sale. This event is a fundraiser for CIBA and members receive a reduces sales fee if consigning prior to the auction. Food also is sold during the day-long event.
